Every year on Children’s Day, we will hold Children’s Day activities for children in the Pediatric Hematology Department of Fujian Medical University Union Hospital, including site layout, material preparation and erection, children’s brushes and other small gifts and shows. We hope to ease their suffering from diseases, and bring hope and a positive attitude to their lives. These activities are recognized and rewarded by the children and their families every year.

In 2019, we performed leukemia gene screening using high-throughput sequencing for 1,000 children with leukemia nationwide: Free NGS-based fusion gene screening was provided for children with ALL; NGS-based genetic mutation screening was provided for children with AML. This public welfare program has provided free testing services for nearly a thousand children with leukemia, benefiting the standardized diagnosis and treatment of leukemia in China.

From the second half of 2016 to 2018, as a commercial laboratory certified by ISO, we actively participated in public welfare programs in the industry, providing more than 18,000 molecular tests for more than 9,000 patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) free of charge nationwide, and improving the level of standardized testing and treatment of CML across the country, so that patients can benefit from scientific standardized testing.
